This viral Banana Milk Toast took social media by storm and it’s easy to see why! What began as a simple experiment with bread, bananas and condensed milk quickly turned into an internet sensation. Ingredients

  • 3 Bread slices

  • 1-2 nos. Banana, sliced

  • 180 ml Milk

  • 4 tbsp+ extra Condensed Milk

  • 2 tbsp Butter

Preparation

  • Step 1: In a glass of milk add 4 tbsp of condensed milk and whisk well to combine.
  • Step 2: Place one slice of bread on the board and add sliced banana. Mash the banana layer with a fork and place another slice of bread. Then add another layer of sliced banana & mash with a fork and place another slice of bread.
  • Step 3: In a frying pan melt butter and add the sandwiched bread. Toast the banana sandwich on both sides till it becomes golden brown.
  • Step 4: Pour half of the milk mixture over the toasted side of the bread and around the bread. Let the bread soak the milk. Then flip the bread and pour the remaining milk over it. Once the milk is completely soaked by the bread, turn off the heat.
  • Step 5: Transfer the Banana Milk Toast in a serving platter and drizzle some condensed milk and serve warm.
