Ingredients
4 nos. Dry Red Chili
4 nos. Bay leaves
4 gm Cinnamon (broken)
4 gm Cloves
10 gm Green Cardamom
1 nos. Black Cardamom
2 gm Black Peppercorn
2 gm White Peppercorn
2 nos. Mace
1/4 tsp Nutmeg (Shavings)
Preparation
- Step 1: Heat a heavy bottom frying pan on medium low heat and add the spices to the pan.


- Step 2: Dry roast the spices on low heat, stirring continuously, for about 5 minutes. Then remove them to a plate and let them cook down.


- Step 3: Next transfer the toasted spices to a grinder and blitz them till you have a fine powder.


- Step 4: Store the Shahi Garam Masala powder in an airtight container.
