Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Mango Puree

  • 1 tbsp Sugar

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tsp Cornstarch + 1 tbsp Water

Preparation

  • Step 1: Combine mango puree, sugar and water in a pan and bring the mixture to a boil on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2: Turn down to low heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes, stir at regular intervals.
  • Step 3: In a bowl combine cornstarch and water, make a slurry. Add the cornstarch slurry in the mango sauce and cook the sauce for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 4: Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature. Store it in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or freeze it for up to 6 months.
