What is Blue Curacao?
Blue Curacao is a vibrant orange-flavoured liqueur originating from the Caribbean island of Curacao. Crafted from the peels of laraha oranges, a unique citrus fruit and sugar cane alcohol, it offers a delightful balance of sweet orange notes with a hint of bitterness. The distinct blue hue of Blur Curacao is achieved through the addition of blue food colouring, lending a striking visual appeal to cocktails. While blue is the most popular variation, you can also find it in oranges and clear forms, as well as green. Whether adding a splash to a classic mojito or crafting inventive summer cocktails, blue curacao injects both flavour and colour, making it a beloved staple of mixology.
