Ingredients

  • 360 gm All-purpose Flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 170 gm Cold Butter, cubed

  • 1 no. Egg

  • 1/3 cup Water

     

Preparation

  • Step 1: In a mixing bowl combine sifted flour and salt, mix properly.
  • Step 2: Then add butter and blend in the butter with your finger tips or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse meal with some pea-sized butter lumps.
  • Step 3: Then add egg and stirring with fork to combine. Then add water, a little bit at a time, until the dough starts to come together smoothly, adding more as needed. Keep kneading the dough, adding more of the water as needed, until the dough is smooth.
  • Step 4: Divide the dough into two discs and cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • Step 5: Use the dough in your desired recipe and enjoy!!
