Yes, you can prepare the meatballs ahead of time and freeze them for up to 3 months. This will help you save some extra time on a busy weeknight. If you have any leftovers, simply put them in an airtight container and store in the fridge for 3-4 days.
How do you reheat frozen meatballs?
Make sure to thaw the frozen meatballs overnight in the fridge. When you are ready to reheat them , add them to a pan on the stove or microwave for 1-2 minutes until warmed through.

Ingredients:
Chicken Meatballs:
400 gm chicken mince / chicken keema (I like using something about 5-7% fat)
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tbsp parley, dried
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp Black pepper powder
¼ tsp nutmeg, grated
1 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp breadcrumbs
6-8 tbsp Vegetable oil, for frying
Mustard Sauce:
2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tbsp Butter
2 no. onions, chopped
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups of chicken stock
150 ml milk
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp black pepper powder
¼ tsp nutmeg, grated
Salt, to taste
1 tsp parsley, dried
Preparation:
Meatball:
- Step 1: To prepare chicken meatballs, start by combining chicken mince with finely chopped onion, dried parsley, black pepper powder, garlic, nutmeg and salt. The addition of breadcrumbs helps bind the mixture together. Mix all the ingredient thoroughly until well combined. Shape the mixture into small, bite-sized balls and set them aside.

- Step 2: In a frying pan, heat 6-8 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, swirl it around the pan to coat the surface evenly. Carefully place the chicken meatballs in the pan, making sure not to overcrowd them.

- Step 3: Cook the meatballs for a few minutes, turning them gently every couple of minutes until they are beautifully browned on all sides and cooked through. Once the meatballs are cooked set them aside.

Mustard Sauce:
- Step 4: In the left-over oil in the pan, add garlic and butter and fry for 2-3 minutes or until the garlic becomes fragrant and lightly golden, on medium high heat. Then add chopped onions and a pinch of salt, and saute them for 7-8 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

- Step 5: Then add all purpose flour and cook for 3-4 minutes stirring well to form a smooth roux ad the raw smell is gone. Then pour in chicken stock, gently mixing it with the roux to create a luscious base for the sauce.

- Step 6: Then add milk and continue stirring until mixed properly. Now it’s time to add the star ingredient- Dijon mustard. Enhance the sauce further with black pepper powder and a touch of grated nutmeg and mix well.

- Step 7: Once the sauce is well combined and seasoned to perfection, gently add the cooked chicken meatballs to the pan. Allow the flavors to meld together by simmering everything on low heat for 8-10 minutes, ensuring the meatballs are coated with the luscious mustard sauce.

- Step 8: Sprinkle dried parsley for a burst of flavor and turn off the heat. The result is tantalizing dish of chicken meatballs nestled in a rich, velvety mustard sauce, ready to be savored.

- Step 9: Serve the chicken meatballs in mustard sauce hot, accompanied by your choice of sides, such as creamy mashed potatoes, buttered noodles or a crisp garden salad.
