Ingredients
4 nos. Bread Slice
4 tbsp Mozzarella cheese (heaped)
1-2 tsp Carom seeds (optional)
1 bowl of water
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Preparation
Start by removing the sides of the bread. Dip the bread in water briefly, then gently squeeze out the excess water, flattening the bread in the process.
Place 1 tbsp mozzarella cheese in the center of the bread and fold the bread over the cheese and seal the edges. Repeat this same process for all the bread slices.
Heat oil for deep frying. Carefully place the stuffed bread slices into the hot oil, frying them until they turn golden on both the sides. Once they are golden, take them out of the oil and let them drain on a Paper towel to remove excess oil.
For serving, these delectable treats are best enjoyed warm. Their flavours stand on their own as a divine snack. If you are looking to enhance the experience, consider pairing them with marinara sauce, hot sauce, Thai sweet chili sauce or classic ketchup for an extra burst of flavour. Tips:
- Turn the leftover bread edges into bread crumbs by Grinding them to a crumb texture.
- You can store these fresh bread crumbs in the refrigerator or bake them @180°C for 10-15 minutes and then store in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
