Chili-Garlic Fish Spaghetti | Kitchenstagram

Twirl up a plate of speedy spaghetti infused with chunks of sustainably caught fish, simmered in a spicy & zesty lemon chili- garlic sauce, brightened with plenty of fresh parsley. Ready in under an hour, this dish is perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy date night.
For the best results, choose a flavourful firm-textured fish that can withstand gentle cooking and tossing. Catfish works wonderfully, but feel free to use any kind of fish of your liking, such as sardines, salmon, sea bass, cod, tuna or tilapia. The key is pairing quality fish with starchy pasta water to form the base of the sauce.
A splash of white wine or vegetable/chicken broth can add depth, but the real star is fresh lemon. Its juice brings a zesty brightness that elevates the dish. This pasta pairs beautifully with your ingredients. Add capers, chili flakes or roasted veggies for a personal twist. I transformed fish skin into crispy perfection, adding a unique, flavourful garnish to elevate the dish’s presentation and taste. This optional step minimizes waste by using every part of the fish, adding texture and flavour while embracing sustainability in your cooking. Simple, quick, wholesome and endlessly adaptable, this recipe brings bold flavours to your table without fuss- perfect for any occasion.

- Step 5: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Then add garlic and cook stirring frequently for a minute or two until the garlic is fragrant and soft.

- Step 6: Add the pasta along with some pasta water and red chili paste, stir to combine. Then add the shredded fish and white wine and stir to combine.

- Step 7: Next add chopped parsley, lemon juice and butter and toss well until pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.
