Ingredients

  • 2 slices of Ciabatta Bread

  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp Salted Butter

  • 4 nos. Fresh Strawberries (hulled & sliced)

  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Strawberry Jam

  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella & Cheddar Cheese mix

  • 1 no. Jalapeno (sliced)

Preparation

  • Step 1: In a mixing bowl combine strawberry slices with balsamic vinegar. Mix everything well and keep aside.
  • Step 2: Place the bread slices on a cutting board and spread with a thin layer of butter on one side of the bread and then spread with a thin layer of mayo on other side of the bread.
  • Step 3: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Then place one slice of bread in the frying pan with the mayo side down.
  • Step 4: Then spread some strawberry jam over the butter and layer with the cheese mixture on top of the Butter and jam.
  • Step 5: Next arrange the sliced jalapenos on the cheese mix and then arrange the sliced balsamic strawberries on the jalapenos.
  • Step 6:  Top with some mozzarella cheese and drizzle some strawberry jam over the cheese mixture.
  • Step 7: Place the other slice of bread on top of the cheese, with the mayo side up. Cook the sandwich on low heat until the bottom slice of bread is golden brown and crisp. Flip the sandwich and cook until the other slice of bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Step 8: Serve immediately. Enjoy!!
