How to prevent the noodles from sticking?
To keep noodles from clumping together, make sure each sheet is lightly coated with flour before folding or cutting. This simple step creates a barrier between layers, making it easier to separate stands later and ensuring a smooth cooking process without sticking.
Storage Tips:
Fresh noodles stays best when handled properly after preparation. If you’ve already cooked it, let it cool completely before placing it in a sealed container and refrigerating. This helps maintain texture and prevents excess moisture buildup.
For uncooked dough, shape it into a compact form and wrap it tightly to avoid air exposure. It can be kept frozen for long-term storage and used later without affecting quality. When needed, allow it to defrost slowly in the refrigerator before rolling and cutting.
Freezing is also a great option for shaped noodles. Spread them out so they don’t stick together, then store them once firm. They can be cooked straight from frozen or stored after cooking for convenience. Proper storage ensures your homemade noodles stays fresh, flavorful and ready whenever you need it.
