Pomelo Gin Fizz | Cocktail Recipe | Kitchenstagram
A Pomelo Gin Fizz offers a lively twist on the timeless gin cocktail, balancing bright citrus with sparkling refreshment. Instead of relying on egg whites for body, this version highlights the natural tang of pomelo- also known as pummelo- a fruit prized for its delicate sweetness and gentle bitterness. The result is a drink that feels crisp, uplifting and perfect for seasonal sipping.
At its core, a gin fizz is about harmony: the botanicals of gin mingling with citrus and bubbles to create something light yet flavourful. By using pomelo juice, the cocktail gains a unique depth that sets it apart from more common lemon or lime variations. The fruits subtle floral notes complement gin’s herbal undertones, while a splash of soda water adds the signature effervescence.
Whether you’re hosting a casual gathering or simply winding down after a long day, this Pomelo Gin Fizz brings sophistication without complexity. It’s easy to prepare, doesn’t require special ingredients and makes a refreshing alternative to heavier autumn drinks. For those seeking a modern, citrus-forward cocktail that’s an easy to love as it is to make, this fizz is the perfect pour.
